Is when it’s coming from a person you deeply care about. When your chest tightens and strains whenever you think about that rejection. When that strain from your chest becomes physical hurt and you feel that you may burst. And when you think the tighetening finally loosens, it comes back again a hundred times as bad squeezing you until there is nothing left. And all you can do is let the tears fall and whimper in its mercy.
